I just came across this place because of The Strangers movie and I'm freaked out. IDK even know if I wanna see that movie it's a really scary case.

Anyway on the home page it didn't explain what happened to Tina I think? Did she dissapear out of thin air? Her body never found?

Also were the 2 younger brothers and their friend sleeping or awake when Shiela came home from her neighbors house?

It's extremely hard to believe that the 2 younger brothers and their friend did not hear a thing? How old were they?

Thanks.

So far I have only seen that Tina disappeared and that her remains were found in 1984. I havent read anything else. Its hard to read facts when people are posting so much nonsense. I hope that this case has some sort of leads or some sort of evidence. Who were those 2 men with the glasses? Were they someone the family members recognized?

Tina's remains were recovered a bit away from Keddie in 1984 near a river, there is more information on this if you look at the older posts. There was a bottle collector digging there that found her remains. From what I've read on the forums it sounds like the collector was never really questioned by police.

I don't know if the younger kids were asleep when Sheila came in, but they did say that at some points the kids did go back to sleep.

Justin was 12 I think, and the two younger kids were 5 and 7. A lot of people seem to have that same question, how could no one hear anything? The kids may have heard something going on, but I kind of feel like someone else may have heard something and not come forward for whatever reason. It does seem crazy that no one heard anything. Another poster pointed out that there have been instances of people sleeping through murders in their own houses, so yeah, I guess no one hearing could be possible, just so hard to believe =p

The sketch of the 2 men with glasses was the description of the suspects given to police by Justin. Some have speculated that they look like Marty and Bo (If you switch the bottoms of the faces), but Marilyn commented later on this board that she looked again and realized that she didn't really think it looked like them. The police did look into Marty and Bo as suspects, but later dismissed them.

I have a strong feeling that the children did hear what was going on in the other room. With all of the violence and brutality described, how could those kids NOT hear what was happening on the other side of that wall? I imagine that these kids were probably awake the whole time but completely terrified. I know that if I were in that type of situation I would be paralyzed with fear. That type of fear completely disables you. And it was mentioned in a previous post that there was a chair put under the door knob to prevent entry... so obviously the kids knew what was going on and were trying to protect themsleves to the best of their ability at the time. I believe that it was stated that the chair was put under the knob in the childrens room and not on the opposite side of the door. If that is incorrect I apologize.

I also feel that the children may have been threatened in some way. This would have also kept them quiet. One would assume that kids at that age would listen to anyone in that type of situation especially if they heard/saw the victims being beaten or threatened in any manner. This also adds to that feeling of absolute fear.

Where are the three young boys now? What do they have to say as adults? I understand the theory that Justin was scared of Marty and didn't want to speak up, but what about now? Marty is gone. I am not suggesting anything, however, it seems Justin may subconsciously hold a missing piece.

I've been wondering the same thing. There hasn't been any real info on the two younger children. I know Justin's mother Marilyn will provide some updates on new memories that Justin remembers. However, it is clear that Justin is still extremely traumatized by the event and hasn't been able to describe all of the details he may have remembered.

How do you know Justin's mother will do this? He is not a kid anymore. Also, how do you know he is still traumatized? Do you know him/them?
just curious. Thanks.

We know that at some point Justin saw something. We just don't know how much or what. He did give the sketches, so he probably at least peeked out, but other than the sketches, he did not give very much information. Because he didn't have much information or because he was too afraid/threatened not to, we don't know. Marilyn has asked him questions before, but he has not answered very much, for whatever reason.

The other 2 kids were a bit too young to really remember anything. I brought this up a while ago and it was said they just don't remember and people don't really know where exactly they are, or don't want to bother them.
