Ok so just to clarify here, Justin was 12 at time of the murders. He was present in the cabin but in a different room? He was able to give a few details that led to the sketches of the supposed killers?

So if I have thoes details correct I have a few questions. If he was able to give enough details to allow police to sketch the killers, wouldnt Justin theoretically be able to finger them in some sort of police line up? Was this never considered?

Some of you have brought up the question of "why was Justin left alive if he had caught even a glimpse of the killers?" Could this indicate that the killer or killers may have been quite close to Justin?

I'll be frank here, I dont understand why Justin is not a larger part of this case? I mean being 12 years old isnt exactly a child. I would just think police would want to talk to the only real witness of the crime.

(I understand that at the time Justin was probably tramatized by the event, but what about later on)

Those are good thoughts. Unfortunately Justin isn't talking.

For over three years now I have had a very funny feeling about Justin and his story.

I found something that isn't really ready for prime time yet. When it is, the timeline might end up being a little different.

Someone knows what I found, they aren't very happy. That's life.

Everything that I can find only lists very little information from Justin. The fact that he put a chair against the door, the sketches of the two suspects. It doesn't seem like he really had very much information to give them. At some point during the night the children in the room went back to sleep.

There's a couple posts on here where people have asked Marilyn to ask Justin about things, but in each one when she responds, it sounds like he is very unwilling to discuss it. Unfortunately, I think what Justin saw and heard and knows about this case will most likely remain locked in his head. If he won't even answer his mom's questions about it, he probably won't answer ours either.

I'm with Valley on this though. I know a lot about PTSD and all the problems it can cause, but it still does sound weird to me.

I would think at age 12 he would go running to his mother to unload the horror that had happened in his presence. Give his fear up to a protector? I doubt a chair under a doorknob would stop one or more grown persons with that kind of rage from breaking in if they wanted to. Being afraid to go into his own house doesn't necessarily point at Marty or Bo being guilty though. IMO. That may well be just childish imagination. I had a big one. After being through that you might think you'd walk in on death behind every door. It's just fear blowing things up bigger than they actually are. Then again. It's just not definitive proof. Justin had to have told someone something, sometime. You can't hold that in and not explode. This is an ugly thought but could the perps have made him participate in some fashion because he walked out and they saw him. Then told him he can't tell because he'd be responsible too. He'd be sent away. I'm just going over any possibility here. He probaby would feel guilt that he couldn't protect them,(Sue and boys),anyway. Survivor guilt? It looks like he did protect the little ones. I'm glad of that.

gypsey2 is Justin's mother. Read her posts and you may gain a perspective of who he had to go to. Draw your own conclusions.

Sunflwr, you have no idea how close to the truth you really are.

There are somethings to iron out, like "down by the river." But we're getting there.

If that's close to the truth it makes my stomach turn. I've been really angry at people and had some pretty bad thoughts but to actually do them is a whole other thing. Ugh.
