Doug refers to 'Bo'

Postby duffyman » Tue Sep 19, 2017 12:28 pm

It does strike me as kind of strange that in the mockumentary Sheriff Doug refers to 'Bo' and not Severin, John, or Mr Boubede.

Cops, when they talk about a case - even well after the case, generally tend to revert to an official way of talking. If Bo was someone he had not met or been familiar with before the case, why does he refer to him only as 'Bo"?

He refers to Marty as Martin, not Marty. Even though that is the person he has spent time with. But Bo is just 'Bo'.

That just doesn't feel right to me.

Good catch, duffyman. I missed it also. He should have said "John".
