Sucks hard it does.

Care giving for a beloved family member is serious business.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. It's so very draining. I went through it with my Dad a few years ago; he's going in for another scan tomorrow, after having been in remission for ages. After what chemo reduced him to, I wouldn't have thought it was possible for anybody to survive. Of-course it's the chemo - the "cure" - that really makes them feel ill. I wish the medical community could come up with something else. He looked like a concentration camp inmate; a skeleton. But he did pull through. I'm at that age now where people I owe, big time, will start depending on me. I wish I was more of a people person (wish I had dough too). Never had kids so..I don't know, I'm awkward. Not a natural nurturer. We can only do our best for those who held our hands through life though.

Good luck, is all I can come up with.
