570107 Due to be released on 19 Feb 57, Bo is discharged from USAF at Parks AFB, Dublin, CA. Reason listed: "SDN-411 COG upon rtn fr OS para 3k, AFR 39-14". Separation Designation Number 411 means early discharge of overseas returnee, COG= Convenience of Government upon return from overseas. AFR 39-14 means the purpose of the discharge was so he would immediately re-enlist for another specific term of time. This discharge indicates he had been in service a total of 8 yrs 10 mos, with a total of 11 mos spent overseas. He was supposed to complete a full year overseas, but was returned home and discharged, then re-upped.

My best understanding of these regulations is that Bo was sent home from overseas early for some reason (family emergency, health reason, etc) and, because there was too little time left on his enlistment to permanently re-assign him to another duty, they proceeded with the AFR 39-14, honorably discharging him on the premise he will re-enlist within 24 hours.

Discharge papers show he was with the 4th Transportation Sqdrn as his most recent assignment. The 4th (Airlift) Sqdrn was based out of Larson AFB at the time, near Moses Lake, WA. At the time, the 4th was helping build the DEW Line near Alaska, and also doing massive support/troop carries for the Korean war, and helping the French in Vietnam. Bo was listed as overseas (FEAF= Far East AF), so he was stationed in Japan or Philippines. Family indicates he was stationed in Japan.

He is listed as a "truck driver, LT", which means he drove vehicles under 2.5 tons. "MOP (Measures of Performance) undetermined." Permanent address listed as 815 Lyon, San Fran.

No discharge pay or travel expenses listed, indicating there was not bonus furlough for re-enlisting.

"Another twist in the case was in 1958 when Bobby Kennedy then the Chief Counsel of the U.S. Senate Rackets Committee travelled to Joliet in the company of his chief investigator Jim Mcshane and convict and Mafia employee James Rini (also known as the “Green Hornet”), who was convicted of breaking and damaging tavern/bar coin machines not owned by the Mafia) to search for Zelko’s remains after Rini wrote a letter to Bobby Kennedy saying he was involved in the murder of Zelko and on 9th Nov 1959 they traveled to an orchard on Mike Kozak’s farm on Renwick Road Joliet and spent the day digging holes in the search for Molly Zelko, yet came up empty. Kennedy mentioned this in his book “The Enemy Within.” Rini was taken to testify to the Rackets Committee regarding Zelko’s Murder, but pled the 5th amendment on each and every question, later saying it was all a hoax."

He was last stationed with the 78th Transportation Squadron out of Hamilton AFB (San Rafael, CA), which is also where he is discharged. Discharge papers indicate he served 3 months and 9 days of his 6 year term before going AWOL.

I said to her, 'Mama, if you touch that button we're all gonna die here.' So she took her chair and moved away. And we got the money, we walked right out, jumped in the car.

"I had the back seat fixed so we could raise it up and get in the trunk. So they were looking for two guys(Jim Rini and Alvin Boubede) and a woman(Doloris Boubede-Canibano), and they never seen the two guys. They seen only the woman, and she had a baby, little Johnny(John S. Canibano age 2 in 1958), her baby son. And he was sitting in the front seat, and nobody paid attention to her. They had roadblocks, but we didn't go on the road. We went to another guy's(James V. Anthony) house, went in the garage, closed the door, went down into the basement, split the money. 581013 Alvin (36) and Bo (26) are captured after robbing $16,800 from Carteux, Inc, 5 N Wabash, on the Chicago Loop. After pistol-whipping two clerks, they are captured by a clerk and traffic cop and the driver of the cab they tried to hire as a getaway. Alvin is shot in the 'thigh'. Bo Boubede later transposed this incident as part of his alibi to Keddie 'investigators' Crim & Bradley, saying he was the cop disarming a robber and that he had been shot in the hip/groin by the suspect. They went to the bar and stayed there until 2430 to 0100 hrs. Marilyn drank two beers, and Marty drank beer and coke with something in it. She didn't know if Bo had any liquor. Bo and Marty were looking for a girl for Bo. They kept watching all the girls that came in. All three were sitting at a table in the dance floor area of the bar. Marty got up from the table and walked into the front part of the bar. Marilyn didn't see him for 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour. Bo got mad because they changed the type of music that was being played. Bo wanted to leave, so Marilyn and Bo walked into the front part of the bar. Marty was standing at the bar. He wanted to know if they wanted a drink. Marilyn said no, she just wanted to go home. All three walked back to their residence. When they got home a war movie was just coming on television. Bo and Marty were bitching about Jan Albin changing the music. Marty called Jack B., the bartender, and complained about the music. Marty wanted to go back to the bar. Bo said to wait a few minutes, as he was too mad about the music being changed, and he wanted to calm down. Bo and Marty went back to the bar about fifteen minutes after the war movie started. The next morning Marty was in bed with Marilyn and Bo was asleep on the couch, but she didn't know what time they got home. She said that Bo usually hung his coat in the bathroom, but it wasn't there the next morning. Marty said the coat was on the couch. Marilyn checked and the coat was not on the couch. Marilyn said she has not seen Marty's green suit since that Saturday night. She moved out of the house at 2145 hrs., Sunday, 4-12. 810418-0000 This is a report from when Wade was released that day: "On 4-18-81, I talked to D.W. Meeks, prior to his being released from custody on a drunk driving charge. Meeks told me that Smartt and Smartt's friend, Bo, had been at the Back Door Bar in Keddie Saturday night (4-11-81) with Smartt's wife, Marilyn. They had walked Marilyn home, and had returned to the bar after changing clothes, and Marilyn had fallen asleep so she does not know what time they returned home. However, they were there when she awoke the next morning. I asked Meeks how he knew this, and he said Marilyn had told him. Meeks said Bo had left for Klamath Falls, Ore., on Tuesday, 4-14-81, as he had taken Bo to the bus depot himself. Meeks also told me that Justin had said that the police did not check the river thoroughly enough, and that Smartt spent a lot of time at the "Cascades" on the river. I asked where the Cascades were and he said he does not know."

810421 1215 "Erin W. did not participate in her P.E. class, so she did her homework on the bleachers. She overheard Joey C. talking to an unidentified student. She didn't hear the entire conversation but she heard Joey say that Jesse and Bo were involved in the murders. It was insinuated in the conversation that it was strange that Jesse was in the arcade on the Saturday afternoon of the murders. The unidentified student asked Joey how he knew all this information. He replied that one of the young boys in the bedroom woke up and saw the murder. The boy was hypnotized and gave a statement re: Bo and Jesse. Erin could not identify Bo and Jesse and could offer no further info re: the conversation except that Tina had been sighted in Belden." {PCSO Report}

810421 1350 In interview w/ Crim @ PCSO, Marilyn states Bo is going by name Bobby Lake, and she's only known him 2 1/2 to 3 weeks [3 weeks being Mar 31, the day Marty and Bo came back from the VA mental ward]. Marty picked Bo up from Reno and brought him to live in cabin 26. Bo has talked about armed robberies and killing people. Bo said his little girl was raped and he killed the man that raped her. She asked Bo if that was why he was in prison. He said no, that the body was never found and never would be found. Marilyn was asked if Bo had ever met Sue Sharp. She said Bo met Sue on Wednesday (4-8-81) night, and as far as she knew Bo had never seen her again. She met Sue shortly after Sue moved to Keddie (November 1980). She said she and Sue were friends, occasionally had coffee together, and their kids were friends. She was asked if Marty knew Sue very well and how he felt about her. She said Marty didn't know Sue very well. She said that Marty hates all women, and he thinks they are sluts. She said Marty also hated Johnny Sharp and had threatened to break his hands because he thought Johnny was a punk. She said this happened in March. Marilyn said that in general her husband hated all teenagers. He used to call Ricky a pothead and Tina Sharp a whore. They were married May 14, 1979, but had lived together for two years before that. She said he was a cook in Vietnam, but she couldn't remember which branch of the service he was in. She said Marty spent four months in the "brigg," and it was something to do with the commander's daughter and drugs. She said Marty used to be a speed freak, and shot up. She said that he talks about weird things when he smokes pot. She said he had some "coke" when they were in Phoenix. Marilyn was asked if Marty was ever violent. She said that Marty told her he tried to kill someone in his family when he got out of Vietnam. While in Phoenix he threatened to blow up his father's house. He took some money and was going to buy some explosives, but he didn't buy them. She said he tried to run over her and her son, and in March or April of 1980 he pulled a knife and threatened to cut her. 810421 1605 Interview w/ Marilyn. DOJ investigators Mike C. and Harry B and [unk PCSD]: The day after Boubede met Sue, he said he would like to get to know her better. Bo didn't talk about her anymore. Bo slept on the couch at their house. About a week before Sue died, Bo would get up during the night and wander outside. Bo never made physical advances toward Marilyn. Bo and Marty were in ward 4A [psychiatric] of VA hospital. Bo was taking medication for epilepsy. Bo didn't have a car, but he had a lot of clothing. Bo and Marty wore the same size clothes, and Bo gave Marty some of his clothes. Bo wore dentures, and needed reading glasses. Marty didn't need glasses. Right after Marty and Bo got together, they both started wearing sunglasses all the time, even the night they went to the Back Door Bar. They both have several pairs of glasses. When asked if she thought Marty and Bo could have [done the murders], she felt that they were involved, that she just had a feeling about it. Marty said Sue was a whore, and he doesn't like high school boys, especially Johnny. She said that in her mind she can see them approaching Sue, and maybe Dana and Johnny walking in. She said she heard from Justin (her son) that Johnny was tied up with tape. She said she had first aid tape and masking tape in her house.
Asked if Bo had any hiking boots, she couldn't remember any. She said Bo was interested in young girls. Asked to explain, she said Bo showed pictures of two girls about 18 years old. Bo said they were his wives. Bo told her he had been shot when he was running dope. She said that after Bo had been questioned by police [on 4/14], he told her what she should tell the police. She said she didn't see any blood in her house on Sunday, 4-12-81. She doesn't plan on returning to the house, although she has belongings in the house and the rent is paid to 5-1. She said nether Marty or Bo owned a gun. She added that Dee Jay Lake left his car at their house. Bo found an old .22 cal. rifle in the car and brought it into the house and placed it under the couch. Lake had asked for the rifle, but Marty told him he didn't know anything about it. A few days later, Dee's wife asked for the rifle and Marty gave it to her. Interview concluded at this time. {Crim-Bradley interview w/ Marilyn 810421}

810422 1400 Jose C., interviewed at Quincy High, says "Last week Richard Meeks and Mike H. said that Justin's father committed the murders and Bo (no further i.d.) was involved. They said Justin spent the night at the victims' house and was in the bedroom with the younger boys. Justin got up and witnessed the murders. The police hypnotized Justin and obtained a sketch of the responsibles. One was Justin's father. Also, Bo has Tina somewhere." {PCSO Report}

810422 "I was assigned to contact Dee Jay Lake at Indian Falls by AS/Shanks in that Lake's car was parked at Smartt's residence on 4-12-81. Also, Shanks had information Lake had a rifle that Smartt had given him. I contacted Lake at his residence on Indian Falls Road on 4-22-81. I also spoke with Lake's wife, Ramona. Lake told me that he was at Smartt's residence because days prior to the 12th Smartt's car wouldn't start due to a dead battery and Lake left him his car so he could use the battery. A few days later, Lake remembered that he had his rifle in the car and went to Smartt's residence to get it. Lake couldn't find the rifle in the car, so he asked Smartt where it was. Smartt said he didn't know anything about it. Two days later on the 10th, Smartt called Lake and told him he located the rifle in his house and that "Bo" had taken it out of the car and put it in the house without Smartt's knowledge. Lake went to Smartt's the next morning (4-11-81) and took the rifle back to his home in Indian Falls. I looked at the rifle, a 22 cal., and there was no broken or missing parts on it. They have known Smartt since last September and are good friends with him and his wife. They told me that they didn't feel Smartt would be involved but that he wouldn't tell anyone if he knew who did it. They said he is very close to what friends he has. I asked them about Bo and they said Smartt met him in the VA hospital in Reno when he was there for mental treatment during the week of March 13th, 1981. Around the 28th of March 1981, Bo came to Smartt's house to stay and they were planning on a sales campaign for a business and they had planned to go to Oregon. They both told me that they did not like Bo when they met him and purposely did not become friendly with him. They also felt that Bo could be capable of the homicide but had nothing to indicate that he did it." {PCSO Report}

810427 "Joseph H. came into the office to talk to me. He said Smartt had called him at his residence. Smartt told Joseph that if Marilyn didn't go back to him by Friday he would start killing Marilyn's boyfriends, and people involved with her. Smartt said he would disappear if he hadn't heard from Marilyn by Friday and he night not show up for a year or two. Joseph said that he didn't feel Smartt was involved with drugs, although Smartt told him that he had a lot of speed and money. Joseph said that Smartt is staying at the Arcade Hotel in Klamath Falls, OR. Joseph met Smartt in some classes at the college. 810500 Martin Smartt checked out of motel in Klamath Falls with a white female adult about 30 years old in a red van.

810500 Marty leaves Klamath for Redding, CA. According to Det. Hooker of Eugene OR, filed by PCSD on 810716. No known tracking of Marty or Bo after this point.

810511 0830a (Monday) therapist arrives at office, two DOJ agents (Bradley / Crim?) are waiting for him. He told of his entire interactions with Marty, the detailed confessions, carny job, etc. They took "copious notes" and the therapist said they "seemed excited" about the case moving forward and having someone to apprehend. He assumed that Marty was arrested, but never followed or heard more about the case until contacted by the Part Two team. {part 2}

810500 (May or 1st part of June) Bo visits his nephew's family in Lewisville, TX (a suburb of Dallas). He brings with him a friend from the carnival they're working for, Marty Smartt. Marty stays for a couple hours, Bo stays for several days.

810812 Marilyn reports to PCSO that Ramona Lake received a letter from Marty stating Boubede was dead. {PCSO Report}

She said it had been a card and on the envelope he had written, "Tell Marilyn Bo is dead." I asked if she still had the card and envelope and she does not think so, but will look. I asked if she remembers where it was mailed from and she thinks from Vancouver, WA. I asked when she had gotten it and she said around the first part of June. I asked if she had since heard from Smartt and she said he had phoned sometime around when school was over for the summer asking what people knew about the 187. At that time he was in Walla Walla selling tickets in a circus or something. I asked her how well she knew Bo and she said she had met him once and took an instant dislike to him. I asked her about Bo using the name "Bobby Lake" and she acted genuinely surprized [sic] and upset about it. Romona again said she was sure Smartt had mailed the card/letter from Vancouver. 880821-1315 Bo: "I'm an alcoholic." Stopped drinking 6 years ago, began again last week. Had a pint of whiskey yesterday. History of seizures and DTs. Daughter died of congestive heart disease in June, so he moved from Chicago to MS in June.

880821-1400 Bo admitted to Nursing, diagnosed with depression, suicidal thoughts, wanting to shoot himself, abusing alcohol "since daughter's (Sally's) death in June 88". Mild to moderate malnutrition. 5'11" 130#. Says he's lost 25# in two months.

880821-1500 Bo is sobbing, claims he went into alcohol treatment in 1958 but never quit, but quit 7 yrs ago and began drinking when daughter Sally died. He wishes it had been him, and has nothing to live for. Can't eat, sleep, or enjoy relaxation since her death. Smokes and is a seizure patient. Has 2 grandkids he's never met. Moved to Gulfport in June 88. Worked as a cop years ago.

880822-1055 Bo claims he's been an alcoholic for years, but sober the past six years. Says he began drinking again in the past week. This is his first admittance at Gulfport. He has a seizure problem, and last event was 2 yrs prior. Says he was admitted to Shreveport VA in 1968 for alcohol & depression. Claims to have been off his Public Relations job for 2 months. Claims to have been a police officer, and working for a police magazine in PR, sales, and editing. His 26 y/o daughter suddenly died recently. Claims to have attempted suicide years prior due to alcohol. Claims both parents were alcoholics. Divorced.

880822-1445 Now claims daughter was 32 when dies, mistook age earlier as 26. Says her death is exacerbated by his separation from his 2nd wife, whom he loved. Says dad died when he was 6, mom was an alcoholic on welfare. HE stole for friends and drank as a teen. He became fearful of prison and reformed. His 1st wife was an alcoholic. Claims he was forced to leave wife and daughter, Sally, when she was 4, and that Sally was forced into prostitution with stepfather from age 7-12, when she ran away. Bo wanted to kill 1st wife and her 2nd husband, but "Sally talked me out of it". Separated from 2nd wife 2 mos prior to Sally's death because he is a "24 hour a day worker". Was not allowed to Sally's funeral by son-in-law, who blamed Bo for her death. Bo presently feels homicidal.

880826-1035 Bo tries to check out a library card using a fake SSN. He apologizes, gives his correct SSN, and checks out one book.

880826-1145 Bo tells therapist he wants SSDI benefits (Social Security Disability Insurance), and does not want to return to Chicago. He wants to change occupations so he may "work with kids". H's very sensitive about his prison record (8 yrs for armed robbery, out in 66). Many know, but not his co-workers. He expresses a need to sell more, dress better, drive a better car, than co-workers.

880902-0840 Leaves with family member for weekend pass from psych ward.

880908-0415 He is reported "very proficient with [relaxation] technique" and says he's ready to join the psych dorm.

880909-0800 Bo leaves on another weekend pass, without meds. He goes fishing in the morning, but complains of anxiety, and sleeps all afternoon.

880912-1420 Bo is recommended for transfer to dorm.

880914-1350 Bo requests an emergency storm pass (Hurricane Gilbert), and goes to stay in Ocean Park with cousins.

880920-0000 Bo's Gulfport VA case is reviewed and updated without change to treatment plan.

880921-1550 Bo returns from week-long emergency storm pass. Upon returning, he was expected to be transferred to the Psych Dorm, but instead requests he be processed for discharge the following morning.

880922-0130 Bo is discharged from Gulfport, saying he will return to Chicago to resume treatment with his private doctor, which he claims to already have appointments with. He is given a month's prescription for a months' supply of Xanax and multivitamins. He had just returned from a weekend pass out of the psych ward, which "went well". Either way, the Lakes are both lying about Bo and Marty and the depth and breadth of their relationship. And why the f would Marty find it necessary to tell Loon that Bo was dead? And doesn't that indicate Bo and Marty were still hangin' tight after their Arcadia honeymoon?

And what about Bo getting caught up in the interview about which branch of the family Loon was from? They asked him to clarify, and he had to repeat it all, adding that Loon was his sister's daughter. Who in the world wants to believe the only sniglets of factoids they were interested in keeping straight in that entire laughable alibi were that Bo was Loon's uncle via his sister, and that Loon and Bo shared epilepsy? Again, time to get out a scratch pad and do some math.

Every single major and minor detail of the big alibi these three asswipes concocted is contradicted by each other or within the same interviews. Yet we're to believe Bo never met up with Marilyn after she left cabin 26 for the Meeks? Well, she says she never saw him again, so there ya go. Queen Bitch has spoken, so it means she did, in fact, see Bo again.

My belief: after Bo's disastrous interview with DOJ on the 13th, between leaving Crim and Bradley at 14:45 am and boarding the bus for Klamath, he met up with Loon. Let's see, Wade was the one who gave Bo that ride to the bus station... Loon and Wade? Hmm, methinks Bo had a few words with Marilyn on the 13th.

Now, where's the complete transcript of the 'interview' Crim had with Loon on April 21? And why the f did it take so long for him to get around to it? Between the interview with Marty on the 13th and Bo's on the 14th, they'd already lied themselves into the ground and contradicted themselves and each other. Bo told them he was in the air corps sometime between birth and age 8 so he coulfd be a cop at 9 retiring after being shot after 18 years in 1958. Crim and Bradley must have crapped their pants trying not to laugh on tape over that.

Crim wanted to make sure there was plenty of miles and counties and states between him and the two suspects he'd already let go...

Never saw that record on Bo- must not have been posted when I was scouring for the OP.

Bo was 50 at the time--- well, days away according to that document. That's why his lies were so repugnant.

Bo was sitting across the table from two DOJ slime, all three of them the same age, telling them he retired from Chicago PD after 18 years- in 1958. That means, by his account, he was in the Air Force by age 5, and a police cadet at 9? Crim and Bradley knew he was their age, and they both knew where THEY were in their illustrious, lifelong, Law Enforcement careers in 1958, and I find this single lie by Bo as a key indicator that Crim and Bradley were there to ignore Bo and Marty as suspects.

Crim and Bradley must have had a hard time not laughing when Bo said he retired from LE in 1958- after 18 years. All three of them were around 28 years old in 1958, and Crim and Bradley were at the beginning of their LE careers. Both had been in LE just over 20 years themselves when they interviewed Bo in 1981.

Crim and Bradley were there to protect Bo.

OP updated to reflect the great find by NS. Bo's enlistment, reups, and discharges are all marked in bold khaki green (of course!).

Nothing solid attributed to Bo during his time in the AF while stationed in NC. Of course, we don't have any good newspaper archives from BFE, NC, nor do we know where he was stationed other than where his wife pumped out babies. Most of his timeline is attributable to hits from Chicago newspaper archives. If someone wants to find newspaper archives for NC in that era, you'll likely find Bo arrested often.

And I wonder why he was suddenly discharged a few months into his third AF re-up? It seemed he was on his way to a lifelong career and a pension! Instead, he's in the Chicago papers 7 months later for his first known post-USAF strongarm robbery.

dmac, you have on this timeline that my grandfather Joseph was divorced from my grandmother Delories, when he passed away. They were married when he passed away. They had got a divorce along time ago, then they remarried. We also now know for a fact that when my uncle Bo came by the house it was Marty with him. They came by the house around May or the first part of June. My uncle Bo stayed with us for about a week. Marty only stayed for a couple of hours.

The main reason is because we didn't even know Bo's real name until recently, so he had long been a mystery man. The other 'main reason' is nobody else shows up as often in newspapers because of Keystone Kriminal behavior. Marty has no paper trail, nor Loon, nor Dee. We have a few clippings about some of the criminal Pigs of Plumas, but nothing comes remotely close to the trees chopped down to make room for the stories printed up on Rini, Alvin, and Bo.

Bo is microscopically researched because he was a violent asshole moron criminal who ended up in national newspapers, yet never did any solid time for his crimes- and got no spotlight for the quad he did in Keddie. We didn't expose him, but the Chicago papers sure did- long before we knew his name. Ask the Chicago Sun-Times why they printed articles about him and his loser friends.

Hmmm...do you suppose Bo was "the enforcer" as far as Marilyn went; i.e., the "you better keep your mouth shut if you know what's good for you" type of enforcer and Marty, in his ever-deluded and obsessive state about Marilyn, thought her learning of Bo's alleged death would send her running back into Marty's arms?

Okay, Marty told Wade he was going car parts, and he told Mrs. Meeks they were taking Bo to reno, to the VA. So how did Bo get back to do the interviews with Crim and Bradley? Where is the timeline on Greg on the 11th.

fcaniban, I've had the same question myself...Mrs M says Marty showed up at her house that day telling Wade he was going to Reno for “car parts” (code for drugs) and telling Marilyn he was taking Bo back to the VA. None of this is included in any of the interviews of the 3 of them (Marilyn, Bo, Marty).

Although we don't have an exact date for Marty's interview, I believe it was the same day as Bo’s. The beginning of the interview is a discussion about why they were bringing "John" down to talk, too. That gives me the impression DOJ walked the two of them both down to the banquet room for interviews on the same day, 4/14. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=609

If that's true, Marty said he was home with his family the day after the murders (note what he says about Justin that day) and, at one point, he said he had been in Reno "all day yesterday" which would have been the 13th. So, to me, it seems he and Bo both went to Reno on Monday. Makes me suspect they went to Reno for both reasons...”car parts” and to take Bo to the hospital. As far as I know, he didn't say they were going to leave him there. Marilyn may have assumed he was going to drop him off. Maybe Bo just needed to refill his prescription or talk to his doctor. Marty's therapist said he had been seeing Marty one day a week. Perhaps that was his day to go visit him. And Bo could have had the same thing going on.

Mrs Meeks said the FBI came to her house and she told them about how Marty was acting but I haven't seen any documents showing that conversation took place. She also claimed her ex-husband was supposed to go woodcutting with Marty Sunday morning and when he arrived at Cabin 26 Marty was burning shoes in a pile of leaves outside. Yet there doesn't seem to be any sign of Jim Meeks calling in this tip to LE. Why did he keep this crucial information to himself? Its not that LE didn't write these tips down. They took the tip from Joseph Hayes. They took the info from Joan Andrews. They also took the info about the kid going to the school counselor. So why did they just skip over the Meeks?

The other thing that's questionable here is Marty stopping by to tell Wade they were going for "car parts" (which to him meant "score some drugs"). Why was he so amenable to Wade that day then a few days later he's hollering at him from his jail cell? "Where's the dope, Meeks?" Curious occurrences to me.

There are many discrepancies between what Mrs Meeks said 25 years after the fact and statements taken at the time of the crimes. I'm not saying Mrs Meeks is lying. I just question her memory so long after the murders.

Wade who was the recipient of Marty’s angst at the jailhouse. Wade who gave Bo a ride to the bus stop to leave for Klammath Falls. Wade who was with Phillip Shearer (an odd character who claimed to have been present at the crime scene). Wade, Wade, Wade...Don’t you think its time we take a closer look at Wade and his activities?

As for Greg's whereabouts? He was only 5 so I’m not sure of the relevance but my understanding is Greg was with Sue and the rest of them in Quincy that day and then Mr Avery, on the timeline, says that Greg was at his house playing with his son until Tina picked him up at 7:30pm. The timeline also says he went to bed a lot earlier than the older kids so he wasn't one of those watching Love Boat.

If anything, he's likely the one person who knows more about the murders than anyone. He knew all the alleged players as well as the victims and he hooked up with Loon right after the crime.

Actually, in 2009 on the cabin 28 forum, Spencer cleared that up when he checked with his family. The Bo that was with Marty when he died was actually a different one, a guy named John Bologna.

That was a joke/baloney from Spencer about Bologna. I think Spence made up the Bo being at Marty's bedside when he died story, but there are questions about whether Bo really died in 1988. No one has had any luck getting a death certificate for him, including his family. Spencer is notorious for his lies and he started creating entertaining ones with the Bologna and Valentina ruses.

My family and I have been doing every thing we can to obtain a death certificate. I just got off the phone with a lady named Julia at Hines Va Hospital, she informed me that they have located Bo's medical records. Julia said that there records show that BO DID DIE in there hospital on Nov 1, 1988, he died from a coronary embolism. I asked her why there was not a death certificate filed, and she did not have a explanation for that. My family is getting the information that Julia needs to release the records to us. Hopefully, I will have them very soon.

Actually there was a real Valentina and a pretender troll trying to fake like he was her. The troll spelled the username Va1entina with a number 1 used for the l just to stir up the board. The pretender troll or trolls would try to fake like they were regular board members, by gettting creative with username spellings. Sweetpea also had troubles with one.

Yes, there also was a troll Va1entina spelling their screen name a different way, but the original Valentina on the cabin 28 board was also a troll - just a very sweet one lol. Valentina was a fabrication that was created to joke around, poke fun at some other posters, and inflate Spence's ego.

OK, major update to the Boubede/Rini timeline/map. I've added events and names and addresses culled from 65 of the hundreds of articles I have on James V Rini. There is a big pattern emerging of who lived where, why they lived there, and why they hit certain areas. It's also becoming clear Rini was pretty damned high up in the Chicago Outfit. He was right in there, hand-picked with Ross by Red Larner. It's pretty much all there already: the names, places, events. Why was Rini shunned by the mob (if he really was)? Why would the mob hit Rini with a couple stab wounds instead of a shotgun and pistol assault, like Rini pulled on many. Rini killed for the mob, yet they tried to kill him with poorly chosen stabs?

Everything is a fix, folks. Rini and Ross lived right around the corner from the Boubedes, and Alvin and Boubed and others ran with them consistently. All of the main places are within a mile of Home: Lincoln Park (where, years later, Bo had his photo taken-- his old stomping ground!) Even Red Larner lived blocks away in a posh apartment on Lakeshore Drive. Not to mention what is now a multimillion dollar little home on Miami Shores, FL.

Plenty of stuff is piling up. If anyone wants to understand why Bo was protected, then finding all of the Chicago stuff is far more important than figuring out the background of dimestore tofu-dick asshats like Crim and Bradley and Thomas.
